Chetan Bhagat is an Indian writer. He had written many great
novels including ‘Five point someone’ and ‘3 mistakes of my life’. Many movies
are also made from the inspiration of his novels.

- Chetan Bhagat was born in the capital of India (Delhi) on 22
April, 1974.
- Chetan Bhagat’s father was an army officer and his mother
was an a government employee.
- He was a student of IIT-Delhi from 1991-1995. After IIT-Delhi
he collected his management degree from IIM-Ahmadabad.
- He started his career as an investment banker in Hong-Kong.
During that time he started writing and after eleven years he came to Mumbai to
became a writer.
- He has written many novels, some of them are - ‘Five Point Someone ‘(2004),
‘One Night @ the Call Center’ (2005), ‘The 3 Mistakes of My Life’
(2008), ‘2 States’ (2009) & ‘Revolution 2020: Love, Corruption’ ,
‘Ambition’ (2011).
- His novels are all bestsellers and one of most sold English
novels written by an Indian writer.
- During the time of IIM-Ahmadabad he met with his wife
Anusha. Their love story is the inspiration of his book 2 States.
- Besides writing novels he is a columnist in the leading
newspapers of India and also participates in different events and gives his
opinions.
- He was in the list of Time
magazine's list of World's 100 Most Influential People 2010.
- He received Publishers Recognition awards in 2005. In2004
he received Society Young Achiever's award.
